Enrolling Your Student in District 833

The district encourages all families with school age children to register for the 2010-11 school year as soon as possible. To register, you need to visit the District Service Center at 7362 E. Point Douglas Road S. in Cottage Grove. Please bring or have available the previous school address and fax number, a copy of the birth certificate, current immunization record, and a copy of a lease / rental / purchase agreement to show proof of residency.

Any current families with changes in their child’s legal guardianship or residence are also asked to contact Student Information at 651-458-6236.

Children who will be five years old by Sept. 1 are eligible to attend kindergarten and need to enroll the preceding spring. Parents of kindergarten students receive information about the procedure in advance of the enrollment date. Prescreening does not enroll your child for kindergarten.
