The Cottage Grove Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for Educator of the Year and Educational Support Person of the Year.

The East Ridge High School Robotics Team competed in the FIRST Robotics World Championships last week in St Louis, Missouri, and earned third place in the Newton division.

For the first time ever, juniors in the International Baccalaureate (IB) program at Park High School have a shared goal for their annual CAS (creativity, activity, service) projects, which is to raise enough money and awareness to build a clean water system in Ghana, Africa.

Three Woodbury High School students participated in the Minnesota Band Directors Association (MBDA) Grade 9-10 Honor Band the weekend of April 25-26: Drew Bennett (tenth grade, tuba), Daniel Luick (tenth grade, French horn) and Simon Miller (ninth grade, trumpet).

Throughout the month of April, Grey Cloud Elementary brought awareness to Autism Spectrum Disorders to its students, staff and school community in recognition of Autism Awareness Month.

On Monday, April 20, Bailey Elementary School was honored at the Union Gospel Mission Twin Cities’ yearly Hope Celebration Dinner, with nearly 1,000 people in attendance.

Continental Math League: District 833 students in grades two through eight competed in two divisions of the Continental Math League: the difficult Euclidean Division and the even more challenging Pythagorean Division.
