Deadline Jan. 11 for secondary student 2013-14 intra-district transfer requests
Intra-district Transfers are being granted for students in grades K-12 living within the boundaries of District 833 who wish to attend a school other than the one they are assigned based on attendance boundaries. Applications for consideration to transfer a student to a district middle school or high school outside their assigned attendance area should be submitted by Jan. 11, after which all requests will be reviewed according to the process. Families submitting requests by Jan. 11 will be notified in writing of their status Feb. 15.
The approved process is available at length on the districtís web site here. In addition to revised parameters and timelines, an online form can be completed to simplify the process. Online submissions are preferred; however, paper forms are available at the District Service Center or by contacting the Office of Student Information at 651-458-6218.
