The Academics, Arts, and Athletics (Triple A) Award is sponsored by the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL).

The Minnesota Scholastic Art Awards (MSAA) are open to all Minnesota students in grades 7 through 12, with awards also at the national level.

Woodbury High School is celebrating the 25th anniversary of their Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFJROTC) program this month.

Update: There will be a service for David Frigaard at 10 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 2, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Roseville.

Future School Board meetings are set for Feb. 5 and Feb. 19.

Park High School has selected Dr. Sarah Scullin Stokes as assistant principal.

Woodbury Elementary School recently implemented the FUEL program, which stands for Families United and Engaged in Learning.

The South Washington County School District is preparing a final budget and Service Level Matrix for the 2015-16 school year.

The 2015-16 District 833 PreK Brochure will be mailed to registered district families at the end of January. Kindergarten Enrollment Night will be held at District 833 elementary schools on Monday, Feb. 23.

The Woodbury Area Chamber of Commerce has selected Nicole Loch, Work Coordinator for District 833’s Next Step Program, as the 2014 Educator of the Year.
