Schools throughout District 833 celebrated I Love to Read month in February.

East Ridge High School: Monday, March 2, at 7 p.m. in the Loft Stage at East Ridge High School.

The day includes a keynote speaker, and students will attend five breakout sessions led by professionals in a wide range of STEM-related fields.

Three East Ridge High School Orchestra students performed at Orchestra Hall in Minneapolis on Saturday, Feb. 14, as part of the Minnesota Music Educators Association's All-State Orchestra.

Pine Hill Elementary School has the unique opportunity for one classroom in each grade level to have a Tower Garden, where every student will have the opportunity to plant his or her own seeds.

Congratulations to East Ridge High School junior Kunal Thakur on being selected as one of 32 students to receive the Minnesota State High School League’s (MSHSL) ExCEL award.

Woodbury High School sophomore Donovan Carlson has been named the 2015 Minnesota State Goodwill Ambassador for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA).

District 833 is pleased to announce that its 2014 graduation rate is more than 10% above the state average, and that overall positive growth was achieved across schools and subcategories.

Congratulations to Lanka Liyanapathiranage (Language Arts, Woodbury Middle School) and Diane Munson (Fifth Grade, Red Rock Elementary).
