Current Lake Middle School Principal Molly Roeske has been selected to serve as the interim principal for East Ridge High School for the remainder of the school year.

The district has set Wednesday, Dec. 17 from 6:30-8 p.m.

Woodbury High School, Park High School and Cottage Grove Elementary hosted special Veterans Day ceremonies this week to honor those who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces.

Students who are members of the East Ridge High School chapter of Business Professionals of America (BPA) attended the BPA Fall Leadership Conference in Minneapolis on Nov.

Oltman Middle School held a school wide career day on Nov. 13 for students to learn from professionals in a variety of careers.

District 833 Community Education’s Adult Basic Education program, in partnership with the Washington County Workforce, are 2014 Local Government Innovation Award winners.

The School Board met on Thursday, Nov. 6, with the following items on the agenda:

During the Nov. 6 School Board meeting, the Board accepted the unconditional resignation of East Ridge High School Principal Aaron Harper, effective immediately.

Middleton Elementary School received a donation of $12,465 from the Nerdery to purchase new laptops to support the school’s robotics program and other innovative technology opportunities.

To help celebrate district administrators, teachers, principals, office professionals, custodians, food service specialists, and all other staff members throughout the district, South Washington County Schools is participating in American Education Week, set to take place Nov. 17-21.
