The Cottage Grove Middle School Band students invite the community to their concert on Tuesday, Nov. 18, at 7 p.m.

Students in AP Ceramics at Woodbury High School recently had the opportunity to experience Raku, a method of fast-firing pottery that originated as a firing method in Japan hundreds of years ago.

The Woodbury High School Concert Choir is participating in the 112th Annual St. Olaf Choral Festival on Sunday, Nov. 2.  The choir was selected to be one of four solo choirs at the festival.

The Woodbury Area Chamber of Commerce now accepting nominations for Educator of the Year.

The School Board met on Thursday, Oct. 23, with the following items on the agenda:

East Ridge High School seniors Brianna Goetzke and Pierce Firebaugh are recognized as 2014-15 National Hispanic Recognition Program award recipients through College Board.

Ninety students in Woodbury High School’s Marching Band traveled to Florida this month to participate in unique marching band events, a workshop, and to perform at Walt Disney World.

District 833’s Community Youth Council and students from all three of the district’s high school Key Clubs entertained 80 elementary school students at Royal Oaks Elementary on Friday, Oct. 17 for Community Education’s Parents' Night Out.

October is Apple Month, and Nutrition Services is celebrating with apples from Whistling Well Farm in Afton. The district is excited to feature the SnowSweet Apple from Whistling Well Farm on Oct. 28 for all students to enjoy.
