The School Board met on Thursday, March 26, with the following items on the agenda:

According to the 2015 Niche Rankings, South Washington County Schools ranks in the Top 100 school lunch programs in the country.

This month, Grey Cloud Elementary is celebrating March Math Madness.

Around 125 students in grades 9-12 from East Ridge, Park and Woodbury high schools attended District 833’s sixth annual STEM Career Day on Thursday, March 19 at Augsburg College.

After the Woodbury High School Royals Wrestling Team earned second place in the Section 4AAA tournament, they received an additional recognition.

Red Rock Elementary School is one of four schools in Minnesota to be named a School of Excellence this year by the Minnesota Elementary School Principals’ Association.

Students from Cottage Grove Middle School and Bailey Elementary School took home first, second and third place awards this week in the first annual ZooMS Design Challenge, hosted by the Minnesota Zoo.

Shane Hendrickson, a freshman at Park High School, has earned a full scholarship through The Louis August Jonas Foundation to attend Camp Rising Sun in June and July 2015.

Cottage Grove Middle School’s spring play is Alice in Wonderland, Jr. Performances are set for March 27 at 7 p.m., March 28 at 7 p.m. and March 29 at 1:30 p.m.

Woodbury Middle School’s MATHCOUNTS team placed eighth out of the 24 most talented math teams in Minnesota at the state competition.
