Gains in Science for middle and high school students, mark the greatest success of the 2014 testing season for South Washington County School students.

The School Board met on Aug. 21 with the following items on the agenda:

Students in District 833 scored more than three points higher than the national average ACT score, and also higher than the state average in all four areas - Science, Reading, Mathematics and English.

Bus information for the upcoming school year, including K-12 bus passes, is in the mail!

District 833 is excited to roll out two new “school lunch” videos, which provide elementary parents and students with an overview of the school lunch process.

The summer is coming to a close, and so is our “Where is District 833 Reading this Summer?” Facebook Photo Contest! Students and staff members have until Monday, Aug. 25 to submit their entries.

Families who have not registered their students for the 2014-15 school year are asked to visit the Student Information Office at the District Service Center.

Schools throughout the district are preparing to welcome students in grades 1-12 for the first day of school on Tuesday, Sept. 2.

Completing the Superintendent’s Cabinet for the 2014-15 school year, internal candidates Kevin Witherspoon and Robert Berkowitz and have been selected as the next Director of Special Services and Director of Technology, respectively.
